Summary: lack of persistent mail notification
           Product: kopete
           Version: 1.00
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Notifications
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: natbrowne at gmail.com

Version: 1.00 (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux

When i receive an email to my yahoo account ( i have only yahoo and have not
tested this on others ) a notification pops up to tell me i have mail then it
disappears again. I would like a system where the "kopete" icon on the system
tray will flash or rotate ( as it does for unread IM's ) until i have either
checked my mail or i have acknowledged the notification - this feature is in
pidgin already.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Log into kopete
Send yourself an email ( same account as kopete is logged into )
Wait for the notification to come
Then the notification does not stay weather you acknowledge it or not

Actual Results:
See a new mail icon and then it just disappears

Expected Results:
I wish for it to stay until i acknowledge the new mail
