           Summary: Kopete loses message I typed when my Jabber account is
                    offline
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: mstu at sevik.ru

Version:           1.0.0 (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Kopete allows to send amessage when my Jabber account is offline. The result
is: the typed message disappears without a trace and you see a message 'Please
connect first'. It's very annoyning because it loses my lovely message
completely and I have to re-type it from the very beggining.

How to reproduce:
* set Jabber status to Online;
* Start Chat with some Jabber contact;
* set Jabber status to Offline (or Kopete loses a connection itself, see
#181883);
* type some message;
* press 'send' or press Send shortcut (enter by default);
* oops, the message disappears!

It is not a case when I'm using ICQ account, so it looks like Jabber-related
problem.

It reproduced with all KDE4 versions I have used from 4.2 to 4.4.
