Since the update to KDE 4.4 and Kopete 1.0.0 yesterdays no more smileys are
visible in the chat window. This means if I insert them via text in the input
area and send the message, the smiley text is simply replaced with nothing.

A strange thing is that I restore the last few history entries on opening a new
chat window. The history in the chat window that was still generated with the
kde 4.3.4 version of kopete contains the smileys as usual. Creating a new
message with a smiley, closing the chat window and reopening it doesn't show a
smiley in the restored history.

I also tried switching between the various sets of emoticons installed on my
system. None of them works.
