Summary: Interpret or filter nick name tags
           Product: kopete
           Version: SVN
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: MSN Plugin
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: KaiUweBroulik2 at hotmail.com

Version: SVN (using KDE 4.5.90)
OS: Linux

Many people use MessengerPlus which enables you to color and format (bold,
italic, …) your nick name. This spits BB-code-tags all over the place in nick
names and many users are listet under C because of [c=14] tag for example. It
should either interpret them (which I don‘t think is possible since the contact
list does not support Richtext/HTML?) or filter them, there are [b], [i], [u],
[s] and [c]-tags I think.

Reproducible: Always
