Summary: Kopete "block contact" works erratically
           Product: kopete
           Version: SVN
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: MSN Plugin
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: narutoplasma14 at yahoo.com

Version: SVN (using KDE 4.5.80)
OS: Linux

When trying to ban a spamming buddy, Right click on buddy in contact list -->
buddy at hotmail.com --> block user does nothing. When going to the menu again the
option still is unchecked, and the buddy is still spamming

After few restarts of kopete, it will appear blocked when my account is offline
(connecting) and then appear unblocked when my account connects

After few more restarts of kopete, it seems to finally apply and hold

This behaves somewhat randomly - to me it took like 3 restarts to get it block
only when offline, and then 1 more restart to get it block all the time

Tested this time with Kopete 4.0.80 on KDE 4.6 beta 1. Happened in the past
with the Kopete that came with stable KDE 4.4 and 4.5 too

Tested when blocking WLM (MSN) contact. Did not test with other protocol

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Block a WLM (MSN) buddy from your contact list

Go to the menu again and see if the contact is blocked. If not, call him by
means other than kopete (e.g phone) and ask to send you something, see if you
receive it

Restart kopete (close it completely, start again, connect) as needed untill
contact becomes really blocked

Actual Results:
Blocked after several restarts

Expected Results:
Blocked instantly upon clicking "block contact"
