after modifying contacts window size, when a contact appear the window size is
changing back to the original size.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. change window size
2. wait for some contact to appear
3. watch the window size change back

Actual Results:  
the window size change back to what it was originally

Expected Results:  
nothing, the window should retain its modified size.
