No subject

I had opened Kopete about 20 minutes previously but had not used it. I then
attempted to begin a chat with a jabber contact in Europe (I am in SF, CA,
USA). I typed 3 quick/short messages, the first seemed to go through, and the
second, but the application froze before I could enter the first character of
the 3rd message.
