I want to disable writing notification but want to keep incoming notification.
The result is: sometimes window appears when message arrived, sometimes it
doesn't. so I'm always checking if message arrived or not and I waste a lot of
time to do this, please correct it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Uncheck the writing notification in window.
I have a french version of Ubuntu so notification called: "Rédaction en cours"

Actual Results:  
Sometimes incoming message appears in window, sometimes not. More often it
doesn't.

Expected Results:  
I want to have only incoming message that appears in window.
Waiting the message is finished is sometimes too long and I could do other
thing meanwhile.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-22-generic
