what exactly didn't you understand?
i wrote down a detailed course of action a user is confronted with -- if you
not able to check that from a usability point of view and rethink the way of
action you user is supposed to do, maybe someone else should take over?

if you need plain simple:sentences: make it easy and intuitive. the way it was
in kde3 frinst was rather easy to understand.
that popping up and down of black things with confusing icons and little or no
information is useless -- although it matches the questionable ideas of
usability implemented throughout kde4, where artwork are far more worth than
functionality.
