Workaround - download the official Windows Yahoo client (if you have Windows),
log in and delete yourself from the contacts list. Apologies to Rettich if
that's what you meant in comment #2

Obviously this doesn't fix the underlying issue, but has got rid of the errors
for me - for the moment at least.
