I have started an irc-plugin for kopete from scratch. It will have basic
functionality (no file transfer/..). I'll try to reuse some GUI widgets from
existing irc-plugin.

There seems to be at least one regression in kopete: the chat-members-list
can't be sorted, and is not sorted by online-status "weight"/alphabetically.
Someone else willing to fix that?
