Every so often, Kopete says "the password was wrong" for my Yahoo account
despite my not having changed it and then accepts the exact same password when
I retype it.

Having to pointlessly retype it is a big pain, so if the server is saying "bad
password", I'd suggest retrying a few times before asking for a new one if it's
an auto-reconnect rather than a manually-triggered operation. (Maybe on an
exponential back-off over the following five minutes)
