Benjamin, thanks for the log but I still don't know what's wrong :(. Would you
be willing to send me .kde/share/config/kopeterc and
.kde/share/apps/kopete/contactlist.xml to kedgedev (at) gmail.com, you can
remove the Password=... entries from kopeterc, I'll remove the files right
after I fix it or give up.
