I can't get my UVC Logitech QuickCam working with Kopete. 
When I open the settings window, most of the time I only see green horizontal
lines instead of the video stream. Now and then, the video stream is shown, but
so saturated that it's actually worthless. Trying to reduce this saturation
with Kopete's controls doesn't work. 

My webcam does work with Skype, luvcview, etc. 

Below I pasted the relevant parts of the output of hwinfo and lsusb, and
attached a couple of screen captures.
