Summary: Group consecutive messages only if the time difference
is small enough
Product: kopete
Version: unspecified
Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: blhiggins at gmail.com
Version: 0.70.4 (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Hi,
Basically what the title says. It makes sense to group consecutive messages in
the chat window when those messages are only a few seconds, maybe minutes
apart. But when they are tens of minutes, hours, days, longer, it makes no
sense to group them together, and it makes it difficult, if not impossible, to
tell when the recent part of the conversation started.
I'd like it if Kopete wouldn't group consecutive messages tthat were a (perhaps
configurable) significant time apart.
Peace,
Brendon
