I use Ubuntu (jaunty and then karmic) and Gentoo. Since I moved to KDE 4.2 I
can no longer connect to MSN using my gmail account. It works with my @mail.com
and @hotmail.com accounts. I've tried with a clean .kde dir without success.

I've installed libmsn0.1-4.0~beta6-1 and libmsn0-1-dbg-4.0~beta6-1. The only
error I get from console is 

MSN: Error: basic_string::_S_construct NULL not valid
