I can confirm, same behaviour as the one described. I'm using kubuntu kde 4.2
rc1, kopete 0.60.82, Linux 2.6.27-11-generic. Kopete goes offline often while
still appearing online. Sometimes, instead, while you are still online and
chatting to someone, you appear offline to other users.
