i just bought an eeepc 1000h which has a webcam and to may unhappy surprise,
kopete automatically enables the cam w/o as little as asking.

what's far worse: there's absolutely no optiion to disable this unwanted
behaviour!

it is a grave breach of privacy if any program w/o so much as asking simply
takes pictures -- and even more so an app designed to send messages through the
web!

with such a behaviour, kopete is unusable!
