Paul, with a recent version of libmsn this issue is fixed.
I have now the KDE 4.1.96 opensuse packages, and libmsn0_1-3.9.91-3.2 (I
presume it's libmsn 4.0 beta2 packed by opensuse).

With this version of libmsn I have no more problems with my WLM account.
