Summary: tildes with deadkeys sometimes don't get printed when
                    typing in conversation
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: pmontepagano at gmail.com

Version: 0.70.0 (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When I start a conversation sometimes (not always) I simply want to type an
accented character, and instead of getting "á", for instance, I get "´a" (2
characters). This only happens in Kopete, and not in any other program. It is a
strange behaviour, because if I simply close the conversation window and start
again a conversation with the same person, tildes are back to normal. And
sometimes they even work in one conversation tab but not in the other.

I have NO idea why this might be happening. It's a very strange bug.
