I'm seeing this bug with KDE 4.1.3 and Kopete 0.60.3. I went into
~/.kde/share/apps/kopete/avatars/Contacts and found some avatars, but no more
were being downloaded. I tried deleting them all and removing their entries in
their respective avatarconfig.rc files and monitoring the directory with 'du -c
.', but the size stayed at 0 bytes even after restarting Kopete, opening and
closing chat windows, and explicitly requesting avatars. I'm using the MSN
protocol, by the way.
