I see the same thing. The contacts were mainly deleted a long time ago, and did
not appear in the KDE3 version of Kopete. They also do not appear in the
Windows version of Yahoo Messenger or in Pidgin.

Deleting the contacts works, and they do not appear immediately when Kopete is
restarted. When Kopete attempts to log into Yahoo however, they reappear.

I'm using version 0.80.2 on KDE 4.3.2.
