I can reliably replicate this using the following steps:

1. Delete all Kopete config out of ~/.kde4 ...
2. Add an MSN account and set status online
3. Add another MSN account and set status online again (using Status toolbar
icon)
4. Crash (as above), and subsequent crashes when attempting to start or go
online

I am NOT using KDEmod. Please let me know if / how I can provide more
information to help you.
