I am also experiencing same issue. It sets music status from Amarok only on my
Yahoo account and no other( I have 3 Jabber accounts and 1 MSN and 1 Bonjour).

I had this problem with Kopete in KDE 4.2.4 from Fedora Packages and also on
Kopete from KDE 4.3 which I compiled myself.
