I have set my Kopete to connect as "invisible" on startup.

It connects to ICQ and MSN just fine, but it doesn't show any Google Talk
contacts online.
Then i switch the status from Invisible (it shows up as being invisible and
online in the status) for the google talk / jabber plugin to Online and
suddenly all my contacts pop up as online.

If I now switch to Invisible manually again, all my contacts remain online and
I really seem to be invisible.

Conclusion: Having initial status set to invisible makes Kopete not connect to
Google Talk / Jabber, and falsely advertise its current status as Online
(Invisible).
