I have pretty much the same error when trying to use groupchat functionallity
in kopete. But I get an error message saying: "Stream packet received from an
invalid address." and my kopete (Version 0.70.2) doesn't crash and I can just
reconnect to my xmpp-account.

I am using Gentoo Linux, which means that I have builded kopete myself from
Source through portage.
