I think Kopete at KDE 4 took a few too many steps back. Don't take me wrong,
there's improvements too. But for the average user Kopete is now very very
annoying due to few bugs or lack of features which were present on the KDE 3
Kopete.

I can't figure out which of my chats got a new message, I expect them to be
blinking on the taskbar. I'm not using tabs on the chats, neither I want my
desktop to be full of these small notification windows (with very odd alignment
on the desktop). And stealing focus from other Windows would the most annoying
option of all...

Could it be fair to say that most people would want their Kopete to behave
quite similar to... oh noes... MSN Messenger on Windows...?
