on my pc this plugin has never crashed. But I see it is error in
DBusQt::Connection. New KDE4 use Qt4 and here is QtDBus::Connection and qt4 fix
a lot of errors. Maybe in KDE4...

Is this plugin on your pc useable? Or it crashed stil, when you start kopete?

I'm stil trying port to KDE4.
