I haven't tried KDE4-Kopete yet, but will the "add contact" dialogue now allow
to add several contacts in one run?

If not so, this still is annoying.

Most preferrably, I could drag&drop search results to contact groups, and mark
a combination in the list so they are added in one step.

An alternative could be relabling the "Ok" with "Add and Close" and adding an
"Add" button.  If that won't fit some style guides, give the "Ok" button a
tooltip "Add and Close" and add an "Add" button with tooltip "Add selected
contacts".
