Then this is a logical bug. IM contacts in most protocols have an email field,
in particular Hotmail accounts. From the user point of view, its normal to want
to right click and send an email to the user when they are offline. The user
has no idea, like i've just demonstrated, that they need to add every user
(which could be thousands) into their address book just to have the
functionality of sending an email to them.
I certainly wouldn't want to add all my MSN contacts into my address book.
