Could you reemerge (that will need some time) glibc, qt 4, kdelibs and kopete
with the splitdebug features ?

You can do this like that : 

FEATURES=splitdebug emerge -av glibc qt kdelibs kopete

Check if the correct packages are to be built (e. g. not qt 3)
