Like Pali, I can't confirm this. I don't think this is a kopete problem. If you already tried removing the kwallet directory, and that didn't do anything, you can try moving your .kde4 to another folder, and restarting and then you can create a new kwallet, then move everything back. Possibly overkill. Anyway, get some tech support on this, and if it doesn't work, then please reopen, but after making a new wallet in 4, I had no further problems.
