Hi,

I will attempt to packet sniff this and get back to you.
In the meantime, I do have a firewall in my router, but this is set out to
let me out (and in) on the specified port.  Is it that Yahoo sometimes tries
to connect back on another port?
I am behind a NAT too, but a fixed IP external and fixed internal IP, there
shouldn't be an issue, but the packet sniffing will tell me.
No Proxies.

As mentioned, most of the time it connects and immediately disconnects.  If
I reconnect repeatedly, occasionally it will connect me and stay connected.
Sometimes, if I use another yahoo server it is fine for a while and then
stops working...

Hi, can you try packet sniffing and see what might be causing this? Are you behind a firewall, proxy, NAT, etc.?<br>
