Aha, so what you're saying, is the correct German translation for the English word "Email" or "Online" is "Email" and "Online", and it should NOT use the fallback language for that? This is a translation bug then.

And although I wouldn't normally trust Google, I see what you mean. If I take the phrase "I went online to check my email, and then went offline." and translate that into Spanish (which eliminates the English words) and translate the Spanish to German, I get "Ich ging online zu überprüfen, meine E-Mail, dann wieder offline." No idea how accurate that is gramatically, but I see what you mean about the words "online", "offline", and "email". Did you say you had this problem in Kontact too? Is this a KDE wide translation error then?
