            Bug ID: 391543
Summary: Warn for expired authentication certificate
           Product: konversation
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: konversation-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: xqq95794 at sawoe.com
  Target Milestone: ---

It would be nice if Konversation checked the expiration date on
certificate-based authentication, and gave a warning/error if the certificate
is expired.

At the moment (v1.7.4), connecting with an expired certificate results in a
successful connection to the server, but no identification:
[Info] Requesting capabilities: account-notify extended-join multi-prefix sasl
[Info] SASL capability acknowledged by server, attempting SASL EXTERNAL
authentication...
[Error] SASL authentication attempt failed.
[Info] Closing capabilities negotiation.
[Info] SASL authentication aborted.
