I can confirm this with Qt 5.5.1 and Konversation 1.6.
It also happens when changing breeze settings, like the animation duration.
The backtrace is almost identical.
Maybe it is related to QApplication being instantiated a bit too late?
"QCoreApplication::arguments: Please instantiate the QApplication object first"
