Summary: Konversation settings window too tall for netbooks,
cannot see OK/Cancel buttons, cannot be resized to fit
           Product: konversation
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konversation-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: zorael at gmail.com

Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Konversation 1.2.1+ from git snapshot at 2010-01-12.

The settings window is too tall for the increasingly popular netbooks, which
usually have a native resolution of 1024x600. Such netbooks include the MSI
Wind with its derivatives and the Acer Aspire One. The window cannot be resized
to fit, so it's impossible to hit OK to apply changed settings.

...unless the user knows of a way to move the window outside the boundaries of
the desktop workspace, such as (with KWin) by holding Alt and dragging the
window upwards. That's not obvious for a new user, who's now left with the
options to either tab and "guess" to hit the OK button with the keyboard, or to
just ESC out of the menu and be unable to change any settings.
