I have all the latest updates that have been released through opensuse updates,
the version numbers now show:

Konversation Version 1.1.75+ #3400 Using KDE 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1) "release 106"

So I guess that means it's the same version, just a newer build of KDE?  

That's odd though because I could swear I saw several updates to Konversation
come in with all the other KDE4 updates over the last week or so!

Sorry, I'm a user not a programmer :(.

And yes, it still does the same thing.
