I don't know why this hasn't been done before:
Often people post links to pictures on irc, however clicking to view them takes
some time. (browser opens/new tab, fetching the pic, closing the tab)
How about when you hover over the link you get a preview of the picture ?
Qt already has a rock solid api to do this :)
Anyway keep up the great work!
