I think it would be useful, if the OSD could even be dragged out of the current screen to another one (in a multi-screen setup like xinerama and such), or that keeps the position, but automatically shows it on the screen where the main konversation window is located ?
 
I started up konversation, moved it to screen "1" (my big screen), but the OSD messages still apeared on screen "0".
Then I found the "Notification" -> "On Screen Display" -> "Other Settings" (at the bottom) -> "Screen" option, which gives me "0" and "1" to select from.
Wouldn't it make sense, that the OSD shows automatically up on the screen where konversation runs ?  Maybe adding an "auto" value to this option - which ideally should be the default value - which then puts up the OSD on the same screen as konversation runs (even if you move konversation a runtime between screens) would be a solution ?
