Summary: Wish: ability to rename terminal tabs.
Product: konversation
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konversation-devel kde org
ReportedBy: duo digitalarcadia net
Version: 1.01 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Right now, as it stands, when you use a terminal tab in Konversation, the tab is listed as "Konsole", and there is no way of changing the tab name. It would be nice to be able to rename the terminal tabs, in the same way you can "rename sessions" in Konsole. This would tighten integration with Konsole, and allow for better organization of the tabs. As someone who runs multiple shells connected to multiple servers, this small feature, being able to label the sessions, would be incredibly useful.
Behavior should be the same as in Konsole, right clicking should include a "rename session" or "rename tab" option in the pop up menu.
Feel free to ask for any feedback relating to this. I would be happy to help in any way I can.
