[Konversation-devel] Packaging: Attending a Kubuntu meeting

Hi guys,

I've shown up at the Kubuntu devel meeting tonight,
trying to straighten out our issues with their pa-
ckage of our little app. Well, you win some, you
lose some - had some pleasant experiences and some
not so pleasant ones.

Logs are attached:

* kubuntu-issues.txt is the list of issues I pre-
  sented at the meeting.

* ubuntu-meeting.txt contains the actual conversa-
  tion.

* kubuntu-devel.txt contains some follow-up side
  discussion. I predict that Eli will have a field
  day with this one.

Recap: They've agreed to eliminate the redundant
C++ patch on the server list and remove the sys-
tray setting deviation.

They don't want to go back to our default nick-
list theme, but are looking into spending some
artist hours on fixing the problems with the one
they selected from our collection.

The tab bar position issue is going to El and
seele from KDE Usability for rationale and opi-
nion, as tab positions seem to be a hot topic
in Kubuntu in general and apparently our reason-
ing isn't enough.
