Summary: Wish: Option to keep channel tab/window open on part and
re-use when joining same channel again, also auto-rejoin
           Product: konversation
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konversation-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: reg chavis us

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

I would like to see konversation have an option to keep the channel tab/window open when parting or being kicked and to re-use the same tab/window when re-joining the same channel again. Also, I think that auto-rejoin needs to go right along with this. That way scroll back history isn't lost and, if you get a good natured kick, you can (auto)rejoin and continue the conversation.

Also, I've noticed that if you're kicked while typing a message, the channel closes and your typing continues in the next channel that happens to come up (if you have multiple channels open). If you hit enter before you notice, your message (or at least part of it) will be sent to the wrong channel.

Thanks for the consideration :)
