How is this a usability issue? How does it really effect the efficiency with which someone uses the program. It doesn't, it's just a different way to do things from other clients which doesn't automatically mean "usability problem".
NOw I'm not saying /quit shouldn't quit, just pointing out that this is not some usability problem, just a different way of using things which you don't like :-)
