Quite similar to this bug:

After closing a channel window and typing into a query window, Konversation crashes. I have had this multiple times:

Version:           1.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from:    Slackbuild.org Package
OS:                Slackware Linux 11.0.0
Kernel:            2.6.17.13
