How to Reproduce:
1. Connect to irc.foo.bar
2. Join 5-6 channels
3. Set the tabs as tree on the left
3. Say something #foo
4. Then click on #bar
5. Type "/"

It will not appear

6. Type "/" again, it will appear.

Expected Behaviour:
You only need to hit "/" once.
