Summary: having "auto spellcheck" enabled delays tab switching
           Product: konversation
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konversation-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: omega blackcatgames com

Version: 0.19+ #3119 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20060715 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.1-9ubuntu1)
OS: Linux

If the option "auto spellcheck" is enabled, it delays the tab switching process.

This is most likely caused (as explained by Eike) because of the spellchecking process/function(?) being launched each time you switch a tab.

How to reproduce:

1. Right-click a tab.
2. Select "auto spellcheck".
3. press and hold the shortcut for switch to next tab.
4. Wait for the delaying to begin.

Expected behavior:

No apparent delay when switching tabs.
