When you have several channel opened and you have a pretty large screen, it would be nice to have the ability to split the message window (vertically and horizontally - several times) to display several actual tabs on the same window.

Like we can do in konqueror for example.

I have about 3-4 channel that I watch regularly and as for now I have to click every 5sec to swich between the tabs and read the new messages :)
