[Konversation-devel] Using compat dir even for KDE 3.3 ?

Hi all,

Yesterday thiago fixed a grave bug in KNetwork code ( which was also effecting 
KExtendedSocket ) . Before the fix konversation would crash if you closed 
server tab before it finished hostname lookup.

Now this bug is very easy to reproduce on slow connections ( 56k,slow network 
etc ) . So here is the deal :

- I backported patch to compat dir so KDE 3.2 users wont see the crash anymore
- But KDE 3.3 users will because they dont use compat dir and their KNetwork 
still contains the bug.

So what do we do?

(1) Tell KDE 3.3 users to wait for KDE 3.3.1 to fix the crash
(2) Use compat dir for KDE 3.3 users too

I suggest (2) while Kopete will do (1) . Please comment.
