Reproducing the issue.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Click in the middle of a command to correct a typo.

OBSERVED RESULT
It's not possible.

EXPECTED RESULT
Being able to place the insertion point by clicking anywhere in a command;
increasing usability especially for newcomers.
